Implementing a Theory of Change
A Theory of Change is increasingly recognised as the building block for successful monitoring and learning in any project or programme, large or small. Tanya will demystify the process so that you are equipped with the tools and confidence to lead such an exercise yourself. The session will start with a brief overview of what a theory of change is, why it is so helpful, and provide a simple methodology. Giving Women member Sonia Martin-Nair will then provide a case study of using a theory of change and problem tree in her Giving Women project circle. In a playful way, we will then practice creating a theory of change, and explore together any potentially challenging aspects.
